The making of “Online crochet course” [Part 2]

It’s August + it’s summer + I’m in Spain = I should be at the beach. I should, right? Oh well, instead I’m at home – oh sweet home – working as much as I can on the crochet courses that I promised you a few months ago now. Remember this post?

It’s been almost two months since I arrived in Madrid (already?!) and during this time I’ve been settling down, getting a new computer (hello mac mini!) and painting my new home office. I’ve really been so excited with all these changes!

Once my new computer was rolling in my new office I spent some time practicing my filming and editing skills. The results are my two last video tutorials, have you seen them? Here are the links just in case you missed them ^_^
Maybe you’ve noticed that I have a brand new Vimeo TV channel 🙂 I’ve added a permanent link on the side bar so you can visit it anytime you want. I will be adding all my blog video tutorials there!

If you follow my Instagram or Facebook page you have probably been following my filming sessions there! I love to share the “behind the scenes” pictures, I hope you like to see them just as much

Now I’m finally hands on with the online crochet courses! In a very few weeks I will give you a bit more details on how and where to join them ^_^ That is still a bit of a secret…

Anywaaaaaay, the programme for the crochet course for beginners is ready and I’ve started filming and editing the first lessons of the Spanish version ^_^ YAY! The English version will come too but it will have to wait just a little bit more 🙂

I also have a coworker so I’m doing great. She is the one that rests, stretches and goes for a walk anytime it’s needed. She says “miaow!”. We both would like to know if there is anything in particular that you would like to learn how to crochet. Now it’s the perfect time for suggestions, I’m listening! Leave me a comment below + a hug!

Lots of love,

Marta xoxo

  1. Hi Marta! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date! Seeing your project progress and your dedication to the blog is very inspiring, and I look forward to each one.
As for things I’d like to learn how to crochet…. I’m interested in:
    * doing pull-over sweaters and learning how to measure to make patterns.
    * learning how to do an image pattern in a blanket
    * how to weave in ends on open/wispy patterns
    * learning a language through crochet! I’m very excited about the Spanish language tutorials and am hoping to pick up on the language through a medium that I am familiar with (crochet).

Remember to get to the beach sometime soon!

    1. Hi Cressadilla!

Loved your list! ❤ There are some great ideas for future tutorials 🙂 So you are wanting to learn Spanish through crochet? Funny thing is that I know most of my crochet stuff in English so I’m learning the Spanish terms myself! haha

I promise I will go to the beach in September… can’t wait!

Thanks for your lovely message 🙂

      Marta xox
